Anderson Wedding

Halee and Connor

The morning she became Mrs Anderson we met up with Halee at the Courtyard Mariott hotel in Anchorage to photograph her bridal prep.

Halee’s sister did her makeup. It was adorable how they worked their way through the powders and primping… of each other.

Lovely Halee! 🙂

We took a little field trip to the Chester Creek bridge… where she would get her first glimpse of her handsome groom.

As Connor and Halee greeted each other on their wedding day,  Connor’s parents looked on… I think it might be more than raindrops on his dad’s cheeks.

Then we hopped in the car and went to the site of their wedding: The Anchorage LDS Temple.

Halee and her bridesmaids are SO MUCH FUN!

Halee and Connor’s parents and grandparents all kissed at the same time! 🙂 It was so sweet to reap the benefit from the heritage of love that is shared with them.

Halee and Connor went into the temple to make their promises to each other while friends and family waited outdoors in the rain.  Spirits were high despite the downpour.

There they are!

Halee and Connor’s reception was at O’Malley’s on the Green.  The flowers were in full bloom!

The decor was gorgeous! With a different framed photo on each table, guests wandered from table to table to enjoy the lovely photos.

As they entered, Martin from Alaska Professional struck up their song, and Halee and Connor began their first dance as husband and wife.

The festivities continued with toasts, dances and even the hilarious love story of Connor and Halee as written by Halee’s mom.

Halee’s grandparents sang a special love song for the group. There were many tears and smiles during the song.

As a complete surprise, Halee’s brothers put together a music video that was HILARIOUS!

The children in the group just LOVED the awesome job the brothers did.

Especially this little guy!

I took a walk outside and found two of Halee and Connor’s attendants decorating the car with Oreos, ribbons, balloons, bar soap, and soda cans.  It turned out so cute!

As I came back in, the party continued! Let me just say, this family can cut a rug!

And for a final dance, these two were surrounded by bubbles and friends.

Congratulations to Halee and Connor!
Oxana took a fun one of me in the woods “safari hunting” for a bride and groom.
Here is one of Oxana and I as we wait for the couple to emerge from the temple.  So super fun! 🙂
