Bondar {The wedding}

Amanda & Oleg Bondar

I just thought I would spend a few days catching up on some blog posts from last summer.

These guys have the sweetest love story… Amanda was a missionary to Russia for years and years.  If you know Amanda, you’ll have to have her tell you the story, because it is a sweet one.

When Oleg finally came to America, he and Amanda were married just a few days later.     These first few photos were from that wedding… It was a small intimate ceremony with just family and friends in attendance.

Poor Amanda… It was may 18, and we got about 6 inches of snow the night before her wedding.   She looks gorgeous out there in it regardless!

Then a few months later, after Amanda had time to truly prepare for her day, the two had another ceremony and invited all of their friends and family to attend.  It was the wedding of her dreams.

Her little twin nephews just loved her flowers! I was just happy to get them both in the frame together. Two year old boys are just a bit wiggly! 🙂

Haha, boys.  Amanda’s brothers pose with Oleg for some fun flower photos.  Great expressions!

Amanda had bells for the guests to ring as they came down the aisle. 🙂

We shot just a few photos of the wedding party and then turned the lens on the happily married couple.

I know Amanda was just happy we didn’t have snow at this wedding!

Perfect temps! And by September, most of the mosquitos are gone!

At the reception, the guests were met with every comfort and beauty all around.

There was even a sweets bar, with homemade treats mixed in with decadent candy and fresh fruit! I love how she covered the fireplace with the vibrant strips of fabric!

Mmmm… Banana creme!

Everyone got in on the dancing!

Amandas brother ran a photo booth for some reception fun!

And instead of a guest book, the guests marked the tree with a colored thumb print.  So cute! 🙂

Amanda and Oleg, thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding! 🙂 We had a great day!
