Cronan {the wedding}

Kara & Josh were married at Six Mile Chalet on Fort Richardson.

The sun was shining and the robins flew around.  If only you could understand what a treat all of this sunshine has been for my brides and grooms.  This day was no exception.

Handsome!

This sweet old gal was the flower girl.

LOVE the pops of blue! So vibrant!

Kara’s ring was remade for her from an heirloom. Isn’t it stunning?  And Josh’s was engraved with the date. That will help him remember his anniversary, haha.

Stunning!!!!

While we went outside to take some lovely photos, the guests enjoyed an amazing Alaskan meat, cheese and edible fresh flower appetizer bar put on by Alaskan Events and Catering.

I just love a bit of silliness! 🙂

You have failed HER for the last time!

Love this moment!

The reception was vivid! Kara thought of everything… and incorporated her blue and bright orange theme into it!

I wish I had a transcript from these toasts. Wow. It was all I could do not to use up all the kleenex myself!

Friends and family did such a great job decorating the reception.  Beautiful!

Josh’s twin gave a toast that had everyone in tears, including the groom.

And then there was the food!  It was just about the tastiest thing I have ever eaten. Kirsten at Alaskan Events and Catering always makes delicious food with GREAT presentation.  (Makes this photographer’s tummy and camera happy!)

It tasted EVEN BETTER than it looked!  Plank grilled salmon and roasted veggies…  And chicken with some kind of amazing cheese sauce.

The first dance started out so sweet and mellow…

And they lived happily ever after!

So many great moments for Kara and Josh!
