Ashley and Adam {Wedding}

 September 3, 2010- Raven Glacier Lodge

Ashley and Adam’s wedding was gorgeous… pure and simple… but gorgeous.  Their focus was on their their friendship, close friends and family and not on a lot of fluff to make things beautiful.   And I think simplicity is one of the nicest ways to do things….  Especially when we have Alaska for the background to our lives.   The wedding was at Raven Glacier Lodge, which is beautiful and unique all on its own.  Add a couple that is so snoockered with each other and it positively sparkles.

I got in on a teensy bit of the bridal prep…

Isn’t Ashley stunning! She totally has the “Diana Berry” look down pat… The classic bride.

The venue has lots of fun details here and there… So I had a blast poking around and finding little “treasure photos”.I can imagine this photo nicely framed and on the fireplace mantle for years and years to come.Love this:The rainforest in Girdwood is soooo enchanting. I love how it fades into the sunlight in the distance.A favorite:These guys are too much fun! 🙂Light the torches… It is almost time for the ceremony!Ashley chose to have a few moments alone with her dad. It was a special time for them. This little ring bearer… was really shy at first. And then after he woke up a little bit more he turned into little Mr Spunky! Ok, maybe one more of him. He is just too adorable!I caught this guest hiding a puppet behind his back… Cute! 🙂The ceremony began… Adam’s eyes are intense as he glimpses Ashley as she walks down the asile.Ashley’s little niece was tottering around during the ceremony and then plunked down right next to the bride… It was super cute!The first kiss:Mr & Mrs Kayser!Check out Ashley’s gorgeous centerpieces! 🙂 Love those vases.

Bustling

Raven Glacier Lodge pulled out all the stops for Adam and Ashley’s wedding feast. It looked sooo yummy, I had to share a few photos of it.Bubbles are so fun! 1st Dance…Ok, this is one of my favorite 1st dance photos… ever. And the father daughter dance. Ashley and her dad began dancing to a very sweet and loving slow song….

… and then surprised everyone by switching  the song to something fun and funky! 🙂                               (Apple Bottom Jeans)Gonna get low-ow-ow-ow-ow… It was awesome! 🙂I’ll end the blog with this adorable photo of Ashley’s niece… Dancing with the grownups.

Thanks to Ashley and Adam for allowing us to be a part of your gorgeous day! It was a blast!
