Anna and Nitin Malla
July 12, 2011
I am finally catching up on my blog! Only a few more posts and I’ll have caught up with my summer of shooting!
I met with Anna and Nitin enough times before the wedding to truly be able to tell: these were people of quality. It came from every pore of their beings.
Vendors that helped make the day sparkle:
Wedding planning, Karla DeLong
Hair, Barbara Bohn at Serenity Now hair salon,
Makeup, Mikayla at COR
Alyeska Resort Hotel
Our Lady of the Snows Chapel
Cakes by Stephanie
DJ, Martin at Alaska Professional Entertainment
You gotta see that one with natural color processing too…. Absolutely love it.
What a gorgeous bride! ! !
Nitin came out to see his bride for the first time… The first glimpse is always sooo sweet!
This photo should go in the dictionary under the word “happy”.
We took a few minutes and drove down to the inlet for a few extra gorgeous photos…
You can tell these two have a whole lot of fun!
Let me just take a moment to thank God for creating Alaska.
Beautiful Anna!
A little bit of personality shone through… haha.
Here is Nitin and all of his favorite women: Sister, Mom, wife and grandmother.
Love seeing this brother and sister moment, haha!
Haha, I love Anna’s dad in this shot. So funny!
After the fun family photos, we went over to the chapel for the last minute prep before the ceremony. What an absolutely gorgeous day for Anna and Nitin.
I was super excited to work with Karla DeLong. She is such a great wedding planner.
Nitin surprised Ana with a four wheeler ride getaway… all decorated and everything!
At the reception… let me just say: “YUM”. All these food photos make me hungry! The staff at the Alyeska Hotel always puts on a really nice spread, but this was amazing!
Nitin was the mastermind behind this fun ice sculpture bear with the luge… If you pour a drink in the bear’s mouth, it comes out… somewhere lower. haha.

I love how playful Nitin is.
One thing I really enjoyed about the Malla wedding was the content… the vows.. the toasts… every bit of it was absolutely touching. And Nitin has himself very funny friends…
It would be wrong to end the blog without a couple (ok, five) photos of the awesome RING that Nitin got for Anna that I took through out the day. It has been said that the pink diamonds in the wedding set were found in 4 different countries, and Nitin hand picked the stone in the big set. If you know Anna and Nitin, you’ll have to have them share the story… its a good one.
The rest of the reception was really fun! Everyone joined in the dancing. Martin from APE kept the music coming, with both Indian and American hits.
Anna and Nitin: Thanks again for the fun day!
It makes my day to hear from you about my photos: leave a comment to congratulate Nitin and Anna, or just tell me what you think!
