Rogalla {wedding}

Ryan and Jessica Rogalla

Isn’t Ryan and Jessica’s back yard amazing! 🙂 They have a bit of Wasilla Creek running through their back  yard…. complete with fire pit and hammock! I am pretty sure they should name it “heaven”.

After visiting with Ryan for a bit, I went to see how things were going for the bride down at Lake Lucille.  Roxanne at the Beehive and Mia at Alaska Makeup Team did such a fabulous job. They had a lot to work with though… Jessica is gorgeous to start with!

Jessica’s heart shaped necklace was super special to her… a gift from Ryan on their first Christmas together.

As you can see, I even got in on the lacing of the gown.

Jessica’s shoes were incredible!  So simple and elegant!

Gorgeous!!

The first glimpse couldn’t have been more romantic. It was at the lake with the mountains and gazebo in the background…

Then we hurried down to the church to meet the rest of the wedding party for the photos before the ceremony.

I am pretty sure that the Church of a Thousand Logs in Palmer is now my favorite church for summer weddings… they keep such pretty grounds!

Jessica’s friendship with her daddy is sure sweet.

All the nieces were flowergirls and Jr bridesmaids! So cute!

We had a few minutes to kill, so we went down to the Palmer Moosehead Saloon and shot some pool and pulled some pinball.

Back at the church, things were almost ready…

As Jessica enters the church of a thousand logs, Ryan’s eyes light up with delight.

Ryan’s vows were amazing… I doubt there was a dry eye in the place when he burst into tears and Jessica held him… and then followed it up with a sweet little kiss on the forehead.

At the reception, the candy bar was so cutely displayed on birch logs of all lengths.

This was seriously cute while he tickles her tummy

1st dance!
The father daughter dance was sweet and emotional…

Oh wow… that food was sure yummy!  I wasn’t going to try the crab cakes… but they talked me into it. And then I had 3! It was that good!

Nicely done, you two! 🙂

It was the sweetest thing to watch this daddy dance with all of his girls…

Ryan and Jessica cooled down from all the fun with their toes in the lake… I think it was a bit colder than they expected. (Oh yeah, its Alaska.)

The reception was filled with laughter… dancing… and more laughter.

Fireweed perfectly frame them as they end their night…

It was sure a pretty wedding!

And here is a shot of me getting the photo of the two on the lakeside … All I could think is “Don’t fall off the dock!!” Thanks Oxana for always being such a fabulous second shooter!
