The Sanford Wedding

Robin and Brian Sanford

May 30, 2014

I knew Robin and Brian’s wedding was going to be gorgeous since she had assembled some of my favorite wedding vendors to make her day run smoothly and that much more special!

I met up with Robin at her home while she was in the final stages of her bridal prep.   Stunning!

Gorgeous shoes!

Her two daughters were on hand, and this little one was hamming it up, trying on her dad’s boots and just being generally adorable!

Robin’s features are so delicate.

All ready!

I am in love with her flowers…

Her gown

When it came time for the first glimpse, we borrowed a cloth napkin from the reception for a blindfold so he didn’t see her until the perfect moment.

I just love how you can see a little glimpse of how much they enjoy each other’s company!

Love the forest setting for these!

When we got back to the ceremony site, all the rest of the girls were ready and beautiful, right on schedule!

It’s usually the groom’s expression during the processional that I just adore… this time, Robin’s expression of excitement and delight while she walks down the aisle just captivates me!

During the entire ceremony, their daughter blew flower petals on the happy couple.  She was serious about her flower girl job!

Married! 🙂

Robin and Brian weren’t the only ones super happy about the wedding… Their other daughter was so happy about it too, and she smiled ear to ear pretty much the whole night.

Brian and their daughter enjoy a sweet moment together after ceremony.  Also check out the beautiful embroidery Robin’s mom did on the girls’ bows! She did custom embroidery all through out the decor!

Lorell with I Do Events always does such a beautiful job with the decor! And this event was no exception!

Alaska Dream Catering pulled out all the stops for this wedding feast! Always delicious and beautiful!

For party favors, Robin made hundreds of jars of smoked salmon and homemade strawberry rhubarb jam

…and strawberry rhubarb jam that was marked “spread the love”

I couldn’t resist using them for a ring shot. 🙂

Creative Cakes by Jeryll made this work of art. Isn’t it amazing!?!

Guess who wants cake?

Eric from Alaska Professional Entertainment got the party rocking!

The wedding party put their loving touches on the getaway truck! Haha, “He put a ring on it!”

And then it was time to go! The sparkler getaway worked just fine, despite Alaskan late night sun.

A huge congratulations to Robin and Brian!
