Williams Renewal

Kathy and Shawn Williams have been together for nearly 40 years. If any of you are married, you know what a feat that is! Almost 40 years of sticking together during good times and bad times… picking up his laundry and buying her flowers. We are impressed…

Shawn had actually worked up the whole thing as a complete surprise for Kathy. He and his daughters arranged decorations, the pastor and church… and she had absolutely no idea.

They had even looked back at her wedding flowers from 39 years ago and had the florist make a replica… with one exception. They added a beautiful red rose bud to remember Kathy’s father, who had recently passed away.


Shawn and his grandkids watched out the window for Kathy to arrive. It was a sweet sense of anticipation!

Kathy arrived and was completely shocked! She laughed and she cried. I think it really meant a lot to her that they had planned this special event.

The ceremony was sweet and short. But it was filled with true emotion and deep love.


What a beautiful family!
