The Flurry Wedding

Ambience Photography | Government Peak Chalet | Palmer Alaska |

Amid the pristine landscapes of Alaska, where nature’s whims are as unpredictable as they are beautiful, Autumn and Lucas’ wedding story began with swirling snow.

Autumn had spent the last weeks before her wedding with her hopeful eyes looking to the sky, wishing for fresh snowflakes to hide all the dirt and grime of a long winter. She got her wish, and it was all her dreams come true: She was marrying the man of her dreams, changing her name to Flurry, and she was celebrating with six inches of fresh beautiful white snow.

And then just after we reached the base of Government Peak, the snow ceased entirely, and the sky revealed itself. The weather cleared, offering us clear sky and tons of opportunity for beautiful photos outside.

Lucas just had a last few things to finish to get ready.

Autumn still had a bit more to do with the help of her really good friend and her mom!

Incredible beauty.

Look at that beautiful view!

And then Lucas was treated with a view that he liked even more: The first look of his bride.

We love Government Peak’s gorgeous chandelier! So elegant!

And the guests all cheered!

And the reception begins! Government Peak chalet really puts on a beautiful event with the decor they include in the packages.

Adorable idea for a guest book. Sign a cork!

And then we snuck outside because the sunset was glorious! Its always more vibrant after a storm

That face you make when you just married your best friend!

Moose’s Tooth Pizza! I love this new wedding trend where folks are finding a cost effective and delicious way to feed their guests! It’s a total treat! Happy tummies and happy pocketbooks!

Sierra from Government Peak Chalet always takes care of guests with the best and most cheery attitude! Thats a wedding vendor I wholeheartedly recommend!

What a way to end the night! With starry skies and a full moon!

Thank you so much Autumn and Lucas! We enjoyed being with you on your snowy love filled day!
